7 Days Tanzania Safari & Zanzibar (Luxury Experience)

Day 1 — Arusha ➝ Lake Manyara

• Route & duration: 2–2.5 hrs via the Rift Valley.
• What you’ll see: Maasai steppe landscapes, bustling Mto wa Mbu town with banana and rice paddies; inside the park—evergreen groundwater forest with blue monkeys, baboons, bushbuck, and hippos at the lake edge.
• Experience: Scenic game drive and lake viewpoints.
• Meals: Lunch, Dinner.

Day 2 — Karatu ➝ Central Serengeti (Matawi Tented Lodge)

• Route & duration: 4–5 hrs with en-route game drive.
• What you’ll see: Sweeping views across Ngorongoro highlands into Serengeti; plains game herds, jackals, and frequent lion sightings around Seronera.
• Experience: Afternoon game drive arriving at Matawi Tented Lodge for sunset.

Day 3 — Central Serengeti (Full Day)

• Route & duration: Flexible 6–8 hrs in Seronera sector.
• What you’ll see: Cheetah on open plains, lions on granite kopjes, leopard along riverine fig trees; hippo pools and prolific birdlife.
• Experience: Dawn start, picnic in the bush, sundowners back at camp.
• Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 4 — Serengeti ➝ Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive ➝ Arusha Airport ✈ Zanzibar

• Route & duration: 3–4 hrs to crater; 3–4 hrs crater game drive; 3–4 hrs to Arusha Airport; 1 hr flight to Zanzibar.
• What you’ll see: Crater’s compact Big Five viewing—rhino (if lucky), lion, buffalo, elephant—plus hyenas and flamingos (seasonal).
• Experience: Afternoon/early-evening flight to Zanzibar; transfer to beach resort.
• Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.

Day 5 — Stone Town, Spice Farm & Prison Island (Zanzibar)

• Route & duration: Full-day guided experiences with transfers.
